Insurance Considerations
Medical Liability Discussion
All of our dentists, physicians, hospitals and clinics maintain professional liability insurance (malpractice) at all times. Under Costa Rican law, all malpractice claims must be initiated through the Costa Rican court system - so be assured that you do have protection and recourse. In order to meet your immediate concerns and needs, New You Costa Rica has partnered with Seven Corners Insurance, an "A" rated, USA based insurance company to provide comprehensive medical coverage options to remedy complications incurred from a treatment abroad during your medical tour and when you return home.

Personal Insurance Coverage & Payment
If you already have personal insurance coverage at home, our partner hospitals have international insurance offices who can work directly with you to confirm your international benefits. In most cases insurance is accepted only for hospitalizations and not for out-patient services. These people are the insurance specialists and work with most USA insurance providers everyday - for this reason New You Costa Rica will facilitate communication between you and their insurance office; however, we are not allowed to give insurance advice and will always refer you to these specialists for insurance related questions.
You are responsible for paying an initial deposit to New You Costa Rica at least 30 days prior to your travel depending on your health travel package, and the remainder at your frist appointment if everything is satisfactory to you. Refund policies vary depending on your facility and/or provider choice and will be noted when you are asked to pay your initial deposit and confirm your appointment. Please ask questions if you need answers, also please review our Terms, we are here to help.
